Driving up to Traverse City to visit long-time friends Katie and Brian at their summer home on Lake Michigan. The drive was beautiful for the first 2 hours, then really, really long into the night. The next day we had to regroup with a nap by the side of the road (below).
Above is the view from Katie's front lawn -- what a stunning spot. We are growing very fond of Northern Michigan. Alden used every corner of this yard for baseball practice.
On the return trip - Carl with Soren in the ergo, trying hard to get him to sleep. It didn't work.
