Caregiver and patient

Alden spent the day with Grandma Lo today. The report? "I watched a movie, finished my book, went to a toy store, had pudding for breakfast, had a milkshake for lunch, and played a game on grandma's computer!" ...We think he might almost be having too much fun!

On the mend

Thank you, to so many of you who have called, texted, or emailed to check in on Alden today! We felt lucky to have such caring and thoughtful friends and family. Alden was in and out of the hospital in less than 4 hours and recovered very quickly at home with the help of Grandma Lois' vanilla pudding and home made mac and cheese (well, plus some Oxycodone). He's doing very well now.

Ballista Wars

Fall run

Not sure how many more of these we have in our future, but I'm happy to be heading out this morning with my littlest bean while he can still fit in the stroller.

Wrinkles

Alden: Mom, you look like Hillary Clinton
Me: Really? Hillary has blond hair.
Alden: Well, you both have a lot of wrinkles around your eyes.
