moon celebration

Among other things we will miss about Seattle, this city can throw down some strange and fun events. This one occurred after Alden's bedtime (note his pajamas) in Gas Works Park, a few blocks from our house, without much fanfare. A (free) celebration of the new moon including coreogrpahed volunteers dancing in costumes, horses, live music, dancing on boats on lake Union, went well into the dark, drizzly night.

For Alden (and us), it was entirely dreamlike - he mostly stared quietly, and a reminder of how cool this town is.
