Soren was given a time out for refusing to let go of his toy at dinner time. As he sat there crying on the bottom step, his big brother noticed how upset he was, and sat down to say, "Soren, the problem is, from your side you don't see how important it is to mom and dad that we don't have toys at the table during dinner; but from their side, they don't see how important your new toy is to you because it was a prize that you earned. Why don't you go ask dad WITHOUT WHINING if you can keep the toy next to you at the table as long as it doesn't distract you during dinner." And so, the problem was resolved and the tears went away.
This is amazing... he's a little peacemaker. Hm, where did he learn that??
