A new game

In his first betting game of chess, Alden won all of another kid's Pokemon cards at camp. Back at home, the competition is a little tougher but easily distracted by his morning coffee.

    I love everything about this picture... Alden's total Alden-ness (darling, focused, bursting with questions (I can just hear him))... the dappled morning sunlight, relaxed dad, and the easy Saturday feel. Nice moment, wonderful picture.
