Happy Birthday, Alden!

Thank you, to so many generous friends and family for sending Alden cards or gifts - he had a very happy day (as did Soren, who joined right in with opening presents despite his brother's best efforts to clarify that it was HIS party).

Wasem Fruit Farm

With a short window of good weather before an entire afternoon of rain, we headed out to Wasem Fruit Farm, our favorite Michigan orchard so far, and ate multiple doughnuts each, too many apples,

and soaked up the autumn day. A few photos are here.
