Scenes from the Homefront

In case anyone is missing Soren or me, I thought I'd put up a few photos of the Ann Arbor contingency.  The one above was taken at a recent birthday party -- not sure what was going on with Soren's outfit (the two kinds of stripes were balanced by the rainbow slippers visible in one of the photos below)... I'm pretty sure Carl dressed him that day.

 

 

 

Muskoka!

Sam has been keeping me happy with multiple photos of my boys up in Muskoka this week. Above is Alden tucked into bed on his sleeping porch (where the indoor temperature hovered around 35 degrees last night!). Below, check out the color of the sky today as Alden and Carl spent some time in and around the lakes... Sorry not to be up there with you all!

 

 

Quiet House

It's a quiet house tonight -- Carl and Alden set off this afternoon for Muskoka, while Soren and I stayed back at the homefront. It's hard to describe the silence here now that I've put Soren to bed for the evening...  Kind of nice, but definitely lonely. We miss you already, boys, despite the mess that is still here to pick up from your whilrlwind of playing and packing earlier in the day.  :)  XO, Mom.
