I don't know why, but these photos are among my favorite of the past several weeks. They speak so many volumes to me about what has happened here — how these two boys have adapted to this new world, have entertained each other, entertained us, spent time with just each other, and grown closer in a way I never could have imagined. They are my silver linings.

Alden’s Trebuchet

Home school project of the week was to watch some videos about trebuchets. Alden decided to make his own. Got to put in use most of his own tools (thanks pop pop) and some advise from grandpa Fred. Still optimizing, but see video of initial run:
