broken robot

As told to Jason, Alden's teacher:

Once upon a time there was a robot.  And he lived under a shell.  Then one day the robot jumped out of his shell and said, "I'm a cup!"  Then the next night he jumped in his shell and said, "I'm a robot!"  The next morning he jumped out of his shell and said, "I'm a broken robot!"  Then the next day a guy came and he thought they would take him to jail because he was a broken robot so the next day he jumped back into his shell.

He told the story complete with a little fairy and a basket for the robot and the shell.  Unfortunately I never got to see who the other guys were that would take a broken robot.
