We always knew the song Baby Beluga stirred up some emotions for Alden. But this unprompted performance one night pretty much blew us away. The jumping while playing piano (pictured above) was reminiscent of jerry lee lewis.

This town is ripe for kids - albeit some of the activities are a bit dweebish. A not infrequent sighting is a school-aged kid cranking through a novel at a restaurant. But Alden digs it -- here are some shots around the town - above with a kids symphony activity at Ann arbor fest, below at the shoe store, with his buddy Miles (son of Josh and Travis), and riding the stone turtle.

Elizabeth had noticed that Alden kept leaving the playground to watch (and disrupt) adult pickup basketball games. In an attempt to allow him to participate, she donated this run-down basket to the park for kids like Alden to "show off for the guys."
